Curly Tips Application
Curly Tips is an application I drafted to create a digital space specifically dedicated to individuals who want to document and discuss their natural hair. Oftentimes, newcomers do not know where to start and are so overwhelmed by the journey they stop before they can see progress. This application will be a consolidation to hopefully welcome newcomers, as well as help established influencers grow their platforms.
Product Review
Arguably the biggest hurdle that comes with new transitioning hair is finding the proper products. The issue is when going on big brands sites when searching for reviews you are getting a survey from every hair type. As all hair types are different, what works for 3B is not the same product that should be used on 4C. Having a search section that’ll allow you to see the specific rating for people with similar hair texture as you will help eliminate money wasted.
Discuss & Grow
Discuss and get to know other hair enthusiasts to encourage each other on their own journey, allowing everyone to provide individual tips that can also achieve faster growth. You can make friends, post videos, and document your entire process in one area and see how far you’ve come.
Other features include a terminology list for newcomers who might be unfamiliar as well as features that allow you to privately message individuals that you follow. The journey is meant to be a fun experience. It may have road bumps but we’ll be there for you every step of the way!
